My Michyl

This is my Director, Michyl.. Can you believe she is 50+ yrs old? She's at a conference, of which I should be at. However, my nursing career calls me to work. That's what I want to talk about.

I have been contemplating my career over the past 13 yrs of nursing. I'm finding out, as I search myself. I don't really care to be a nurse anymore. I know, why! 1. If you think your getting I to nursing for money? You are fooling yourself. The headaches, and the paperwork is not worth your life. Bottom line. 2. We get into nursing because we care about other people and we want them to have a home that they can be taken care of, and know they are safe in their new community. Whether they are alert and oriented to themselves or more aware, doesn't matter. They need to feel safe, loved, wanted and bottom line. Taken care of. That's why we get into nursing. 

But a friend of mine. That's also breaking out into BeautiControl full time soon. She said, you know why your not happy? Because your above the call of nursing. I didn't think too much about, until today. 

I see my Director, and how she quit her job 5 yrs ago. And she is at the biggest BeautiControl conference of the year. I'm here. Stuck in my nursing world, where I don't want to be. I'm working 6 days in a row, with one day off. Every week. Didn't ask for it. That's just my schedule. 

Not anymore. I will be sitting, next year, at that conference. At the GayLord in TX. Just like her. Looking great! Feeling great! And loving every minute of my life!

Personal

I have always been taught that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. True after 41 years of hearing it from my mother. However, I've always strived to be and look my absolute best. It comes to some points where I ask myself why? Why is it so important to me? 

It's important to me to always look my best, no matter how I feel. I have finally started leaving my house without makeup. However. I would have never of done that 6 months ago. 

I was teased as a young kid, and constantly ridiculed when I was in school. My parents always saw to it that I had the best of everything. Yet, in school? Always told that I was fat and ugly. Everyone knows the saying "fatty fatty 2x4, can't get through the kitchen door." Listen to it everyday. Before I knew it? I was a bulimic teen. 

Married young (18), and still kept up bulimic activity. Not even realizing I was damaging my body. It just never crossed my mind. Just focused on never being far again. Let me explain how badly I damaged not only my inside. But my outside of my body.

Vitamin and Mineral deficient. Acute Renal Failure. Lymphatic Leukemia. Endometriosis. Fibromyalgia. DJD. Migraines. Spinal stenosis. Twisted spine from Calcium deficiency. Elevated Liver Enzymes. Immuno Compromised. Neuropathy.

Cornflakes, Raisins, Grapes

Stressed Out!

I have many people tell me, "I'm so stressed out." I in return reply "why?" All those reasons they are giving me? They can be worked out with time, and some of us, just cannot release the stress. They just don't have the capability. So they believe.

Is Your Teen Bullied For Acne?

School is coming upon us. Kids are ridiculed daily for their acne. Many parents feel they can only help to a certain degree. I know, why? Because my youngest son had Acne from his face to his chest and back.

What Age Is Your Skin
