Healthy Living

How many times have you made it to the New Year, and said. "This time, it's a whole New Year. I'm going loose weight and feel great." We all have. And we fall apart about March. What happens at that time of year? 

We have Spring around the corner, and Summer is rocking our way. Summer means fast food because it's handy with our schedule. But, it's not as handy with healthy. 

Don't get me wrong. I've never intended on being skinny. It's not possible with my body frame. However, I can get healthier! That's the goal. To reduce my BMI, and Total Fat. 

How have I been following success and not getting bored? Easy! Depending on my day. I drink a #BodyByVi shake twice a day. Fresh fruits and vegs for snacks, and one sensible meal.

I have a hot temper. There is no doubt. I'm a true Red Head by nature. However, when I see stupidity of rules not being followed? Yes, I get a lil hot under the neck. Break out in hives and just blow.

Looking Older Than You Are?

As I was working this past weekend. I was asked how I always have a glow to my skin. These resident families know that I work roughly 36 to 40 hours in 3 days. So, this one resident family, past nurse herself, wanted to know. How do you keep looking so young? She said, I know your over 40, but you look only 30.. What a blessed comment.

33 Pounds Down!

Morning Love

As I wake up this morning, the crisp morning air sets the tone for the day. Crabbiness! 2 Teenagers that don't feel like rolling out of bed, and all I can do to get them going? Are You Losing?

We always think we can lose weight as fast as we put it on, right? Wrong! For as long as it took you to put on that weight, it will take you about that long to take it off. Of course, that's with no exercise. 

I've been on the BodyByVi 90 Day Challenge for 6 weeks. My weigh in date is tomorrow. However, in 5 weeks, I lost 30 pounds and 5" off my waist. I've went from a size 14 in pants to a 9-10. You can too!

Stay At Home Moms

I respect stay at home moms. Why? They do what I just couldn't do when my kids were little. I missed out on Birthdays, Christmas', Thanksgivings, etc... 

I had to work. I was a single mom, 3 kids and a father that wouldn't support them like they deserved. So, it was up to me to give them what they needed and desired. If you haven't heard of KP, many of you have seen it on you. KP is a dermatology medical term meaning bumps on your body that don't necessarily itch, but they do come to the surface of the skin and that area turn very red. Red little bumps, that I've mainly seen on people arms. 

I had a Spa the other night. The Hostess had this on her arms. She said, what can I do to get rid of this or decrease this to not show. Easy!

Detox! So, I gently took a washcloth, washed her arms down with Detox Body Wash, and patted her dry. Then I applied the Detox Body Creme. I finished the Spa, on everyone. OTC Skin Care Research

Seeing many people post about Clinique, Wet N Wild, etc.... I went on a mission this morning. I had to know why people choose these items, versus BeautiControl and our FREE Spas we offer.
