Experienced Pain From Shingles?

What are Shingles? The Chickenpox virus, clearly put. Early signs and symptoms are headache, Flu-Like Symptoms, and Pain followed by a bumpy rash. This is shingles. Atypically staying to the left of the body or to the right of the body. 

Shingles can appear in multiple areas of the body, if not properly monitored. They can start on the left side of the body, starting on the back, and wrap to the front. To include the left side back, trunk, and chest. If not careful with treatment, they can follow on up into the eye. 

This will be the WORST pain ever to experience. Normally through Dr treatment, it will take up to 3 weeks to heal. Here is my personal testimony. 

I break out in shingles at least 2 times a month if not properly taking prescribed meds. What many do not understand? Those meds build up in your system over time. Acyclovir is atypically used, or Valtrex. Valtrex is not usually covered with most Insurances. Over 5 years ago, as my Leukemia became more prevalent, so did my Shingle outbreak. Every 2 weeks I was breaking out. My regime became 1 tablet, twice a day; and when breakout, increase to 5 times a day. Acyclovir is very harsh on the stomach, and it is cause for consistent Diahrrea. This past year, I read up on the Ancient Chinese Herb, Ganoderma. 

Through extensive research. How Ganoderma is formed, where it comes from and are there harmful effects. Graduating High School back in my day, we just knew we had made the right decision on our careers after College. Did we? 

Kids are graduating these days and they honestly have NO Idea what they want to do. So many choices in careers, yet they listen to how they spend all this money on College with potential to not have the job they so desired. 

Some, not all, see themselves as FREE Enterprise.  Working for themselves and many are becoming Millionaires before the age of 21. Why? They have desire, determination, young, nothing to lose, freedom. I know your telling yourself. I have desire, determination and I want freedom. See the difference? 

WAIT! Don't let that get you down. Your running this all through your head. I have a family now, stable paycheck, and I'm not as young as I used to be. I have desire for more, I have been determined to provide better, what if this really grows, and I've quit my job. Then I have no stable paycheck. I see FEAR! 

Even though you have FEAR. That's ok! No one asks you to quit your job. No one asked you to give up hope that you can have better and do both. There are people, everyday that goes to a 9-5 job. Work their desires and wants on the weekends, or at night and the weekends. Either way? When your desire and determination out weigh your FEAR? You have nowhere else to go but up!

Life is like being on an obstacle course. You have highs and lows. You have some curves, and you have some speed ahead of you. Then you will eventually get slapped with the crash. That's ok! You pick right back up. You get your thoughts together, and you get right back on that obstacle course.

FEAR! Are You Afraid?

Fear is something that lives inside everyone. Whether we want to acknowledge it or not. It exists within us. Why do we allow it to take us over? Do we allow it to hold us back? Hold us back from our dreams and our goals? Fear is an excuse. An excuse to say, "I'm afraid of failure."

Failure is how we grow as a person. If we did not fail, at something, we wouldn't know how to respond, nor learn from it. Why do we allow it to run our lives? Because it's much more simple to live behind it than face it. It's better than hearing, "oh I heard you failed at that." "Yes, I failed, but here is what I learned." Failure is fear with Growth as a person. 

I was fired from my job in January of 2014. Did I fear I wouldn't get another job? NO! I feared where I was going and where I was going next. I literally stayed at home for 4 weeks in fear of leaving my home, to look for another job. Why? Did I really have the ability to do Nursing anymore. After reading a book on "Think & Grow Rich." I completely understood. I was placing myself in fear and setting myself up for failure. Why? It was how I was training my mind to think. By the way, the book is NOT at all about what you believe, just from the title. It's a self help book. To make you think about who you truly are. Are you a Thomas Edison? Or, are you a driven person with motives to know how to bring yourself out of that house, and make things happen? I don't know about you. I learned quickly that I'm capable of anything! I allowed a company to place FEAR into my known abilities. I was fired for missing a snow day. Yes! A SNOW day! 

I quickly picked myself up. I learned everything I could about Network Marketing, Social Media, and Building Relationships! Now! I'm a $5000 earner a month in OG. I'm not even done yet. 

I was sitting here re-reading the book. I thought to myself. Why am I limiting my potential? Why am I not out there promoting multiple Health & Wellness programs? Why am I wasting time? Time is Energy, & Energy is Money! 

It's so easy to critique yourself and criticize yourself. That will get you NOWHERE. That's FEAR taking control over you, and your dreams. Question is, WHY! 

Start TODAY! Thinking about how YOU can better YOU, & YOUR FAMILY. What is it that YOU want to do with your life? If your 100% Satisfied with how your life is, and your not into CHANGE. Then this is not for you. If you are NOT HAPPY with your life, and DESIRE more. I suggest you re-evaluate your life. I reflect every Wednesday  just on myself. Why? To take a look at what I'm doing. I want to be better than who I am. I want to be out there improving myself everyday. Helping someone achieve a goal. 

We have to admit that 20yrs ago, our lives were much simpler. Now, getting the BEST BANG FOR OUR BUCK, is KEY! How many of you out there competitive shop with an APP? How many of you are competitively couponing? 

My first week of grocery shopping, and I competitively store shopped. I did a good job, but it could have been better. It took me hours to find out that I needed to go to 3 different stores to SAVE money on our food consumption. WASTE OF TIME & EXPENDED ENERGY. WASTE OF GAS! All to SAVE? $7.25

Next time I grocery shop, it will be with couponing. Coupons are ready to be printed. Printing them off later today. All coupons are good until end of October. Catcher? Right off the bat? INK, GAS, TIME. EXPENDED ENERGY! 

I DONT WANT TO LIVE THIS WAY! I get it! Many of you will never step outside that "comfort zone." I understand. I can't influence everyone to see and understand what I so proudly believe in. What I CAN do? Is share the knowledge. When your sick & tired, like me, and don't want to live the way you are currently? I can tell you that I will be right here! I will NEVER turn anyone away from wanting, desiring to do better for themselves.

Are You A Leader?

Do you have that Burning Desire to give you and your family MORE out of Life? Commitment

Commitment and dedication was all I needed! I was not placing all my confidence into ME! 

I was reading a motivational book. (will release the name soon) Last nights read took me to a whole new level in how to be financially free, and no longer suffer from paycheck to paycheck. How to end my husbands daily weight of taking care of this family. 

As I continued to read and let my mind flow. We have an amazing life that many would love to have. I'm now on a mission and HIGHLY motivated to give others a better life.

Simple It's Coffee

ADD/ADHD

How many families cope with ADD/ADHD children daily? In the beginning, continuous med changes to find the one that works. Once found, the medicine believed to work, what side effects are you missing? The meds appear to be working. Grades are great and focus is spot on. What overwhelms most parents? The statistical data of how common this is in many children across America. 

• Number of children 3-17 years of age ever diagnosed with ADHD:  5.9 million
• Percent of children 3-17 years of age ever diagnosed with ADHD:  9.5%
• Percent of boys 3-17 years of age ever diagnosed with ADHD: 13.5%
• Percent of girls 3-17 years of age ever diagnosed with ADHD: 5.4%

5.9 Million children, ages 3-17 have been diagnosed with ADHD. With the highest diagnosed group, Boys at 13.5% of 5.9 Million diagnosed. Disturbing? What about the facts. Doctors are quick to diagnose and quick to place these kids on medicine. Is this morally right to you? 

As parents, we need to take an active stand. My son has been diagnosed with ADD/OD since the age of 6. Did I notice it long before diagnosis? Yes! I was not willing to place my youngest child on heavy medication. What could be the side effects from long term use. The first side effect? Hallucinations. Yes! My son was clearly stating he was seeing dead ppl with the most upsetting Hallucination!  He came home from school, and stated, "mom, I saw a dead girl in front of the bus, and the driver ran over her, and she waved to me after the bus pulled off." If you think I was freaked out? How do you believe he felt? As his mother, I thought to myself "what have I done to my son?"

Miracles happen to workout if you are really paying attention.  Once we see,

what if that was me. Prepare yourself daily unless you want to live in denial. My son was on the strongest medication made for ADD/ADHD... The hallucinations where getting stronger, and in February 2014, my sons insurance dropped him! God working a miracle.... Me? Thank you lord for giving us another chance, to do this differently. This is God working a true miracle! We have never been more grateful.

What Is Your Why?

Why do you get up every day, and go to the same job? Day in, and day out. What motivates you to do what you do? Is it the money? Is it just "what you know to do"? Is it that you just can't see a bigger picture? What is your why, for not doing more for yourself? 

We all understand that money is what makes the world go round. Is it your motivation? Do you really love what you do? Do you enjoy being away from your family and kids? Do you enjoy working, just to survive? If so, this blog is not what you want to hear. 

I have worked since I was 13yrs old. I'll never forget getting my first earned week paycheck. I thought I was rich beyond belief. It made me strive to do more and work more. Go to College and get out there and work my body to death. Now at the ripe age of 42. Death is what I was facing. I had literally worked so hard and so much, that I was not only burnt out. I was no longer happy with life. I was completely willing to just throw it all away and no longer live. I no longer had a "why". Then I realized the one thing I had totally forgotten the day I was baptized. I was to live to please The Lord. I was placed on this earth to not only make myself happy, but The Lord happy. I wasn't doing either. I was miserable. 

As I was facing the Drs recommendation to either look at another round of Chemo/Radiation, I had decided right then I was done. Life was over and I was so unhappy. Blaming everyone and just completely outraged. Then the moment of truth hit me. I'm suppose to be happy and living through Gods word. His will! So, I could sit here and just give up. Or I could fight with all I had about me. 

Everyone these days wants to live, love and laugh. For all the right reasons. We are human. We should be enjoying life and being thankful to The Lord for all that he has done for us. What was it that was going to make me happy? It wasn't about money. What did/do I enjoy that will make me happy. Why do I want to do what I'm about to tell you. 

I wanted to be my own boss for several reasons. I have always worked for someone else. As a nurse you don't work for just the employer. You work for the people you take care of. They pay you! Not the employer. See, your employer is making money off the people you take care of. That employer doesn't give 2 cracks about that person we are devoting our every day life to. They just want their money, and they want you to kiss that customers ass to see to it they are happy and the family is happy. What about my happiness? See, in the world of nursing. No one cares about you! Not even the person your taking care of. They firmly believe that you should bow down and do anything and everything for them. Because they are the ones paying your bills. Not your employer. Being a nurse means you care about helping others. As much as I enjoyed helping the sick, elderly and children. It didn't matter how much you cared. Did they respect you? Some! Not everyone does. It was time for me to step away. The employer no longer gave 2 cracks about that person who was dieing in front of my eyes. They were already working on who was going into that room immediately upon death, so they could keep the cash cow coming in. Sickening right? That's our world people. Your not a person at that the point your a patient. Your a dollar figure. It was time for me to move on. Be my own boss and find my why.

I did find my why. After many days of speaking to The Lord and asking him to give me guidance and direction. He spoke to me. He told me that I love people for them being people. That is true! I love people for who they are, and they are not a dollar figure. They have a heart. Heart of gold, heart of stone, a heart of what ifs. Many people don't see this. Don't take the time to just look at a person and say, your a person too! It was time for me to make a difference for someone else. Work for my happiness. 

Today, I love being alive. I thank The Lord every day/night for giving me another chance to help someone else. Our health is vitally important. For me to have almost gave up and became a patient, who would have been someone else's dollar figure? I don't think so! It's time for me to help other people not be a dollar figure. That starts with your health. Change of subject real quick. 

For those avid coffee drinkers. Do you ever forget to have that cup of coffee? No, you don't. If you were in a facility,  they would give you the coffee they serve to everyone, whether you liked it or not. Yet, that facility is to promote giving you a longer life of happiness.. Right? That would mean that you could go back home and live healthier and keep your money. Don't get me wrong. Many ppl do need a home to be taken care of. You have many nurses, like myself, who care, and care deeply. I would get so attached. Because I care so much. Most of us do. I've seen many nurses and aides who go, "hey it's a paycheck." Not thinking one minute that your a person. 

If you haven't followed my blogs. Or looked at my website. It's time. It's time to find your why. My why is to help others be healthy and happy. In return, I am doing Gods work, and I'm returning that back to the church. Why? He saved me. He washed my sins away. He suffered on that cross for me to live. In the end. As stated earlier, it's NOT about being a "millionaire." It's my why that keeps me going. I desire to help others live, love and laugh. 

Live for you! Stop doing the same thing day in and day out, if you don't love what you do. Be your own boss. Be who you want to be. 

Ived missed out on soo much with my kids because bosses don't care about you! You worked me to the ground and hoped I would keep doing it for YOU! No! If I would have kept going? It would have been for the people! Because I only cared about them. I missed Birthdays, Holidays, my kids first steps. I've literally missed out on their growing up stages. Because I didn't place my life into prospective of how family is more important. Fifteen years I dedicated my life to companies that didn't care about their employees. 

See, you may not believe that your not working in an MLM company. YOU ARE! Your just the employee. You are working for a company that only provides you with ONE thing. The one thing that holds people to do the same thing day in and day out. Security! Guess what? You dont have SECURITY anymore in your job. Anyone can do your job. There are hundreds of fresh college grads that are out there looking to take your job. There are also hundreds of fresh college grads that have caught on to how network marketing is the only way to live FREE! There are 16-25 yr olds out there getting the picture of life in the network marketing world, and who are living the fullest of lives. We don't know all there whys. We are not here to judge their whys. We can learn from them. With our knowledge and wisdom, we can lead them into a world of being thankful for what God has given them at such an early age. We can change the world, one person at a time. 

I ask you. Do you want to be happy? Then take that leap, and keep your faith and belief in prospective. Give yourself to The Lord, and he will provide. Give thanks. Be grateful, and LIVE! What's your WHY? 

Life's Changes

Coffee Saved My Life!

It's been a while since I blogged. I'm back, and it's time to share where and what I have been to up lately. 

If your not aware, I was facing another round of either Chemo/Radiation. I couldn't do it again. I was ready to just let Gods will be. I had lost all fight within me. Until a friend of mine came to me and said. Why would you give up? She wanted me to try something. She asked that I research Ganoderma, and she would send me some samples of coffee.

Growing You

Have you had that surreal moment? That moment when you just realize this is it! Wow! How did this just hit me. Why? You weren't ready to see it. That moment was last night for myself. 

I'm sitting at an Olive Garden. Watching these wonderful, precious young ladies become women. They are heading off to college. Receiving their awards. Listening to the parents. Speaking about what all we do for a living. All of a sudden, your being asked. How do you stay at home, work from home, keep your sanity and run after 3 kids with 2 more in college. 

Simple! Time Management. It just blurted out of my mouth, and literally smacked me in the face. One, I just said that. Two, what was I thinking to blurt. Three, oh! Here comes more questions. 

I'm eating my dinner, and finally we hit a point of no talk. I'm like yes! Oh no! I get embarrassed sometimes easily. Even more easily when having a glass of wine. Of which I had to have with Pasta. Monday Mornings!

Its 5:30 am, and it's time to get up, and get the week started. Not everyone is ready for Monday though. Routine, get up. Coffee has already brewed and it nice to smell the aroma. Close to the end of the day, one of your co-workers approaches you. 

That one co-worker had a worse Monday than you. Your fake smile, and your fake hello. It wasn't so fake after all. You made that person believe that there was hope for them to get thru the day. They made it, and they just want to say "thank you."
