It's Time To Relax

We work, and we work hard every day. Responsibilities are among us, and we move along like robots. There are times where we need to sit back, and let the mind flow. Do you do that? How many times a week, month, year, do you relax and let the mind flow.

It's been a rough week. Worked our job, taken care of our kids, attended to our husband/wife. Whatever our responsibilities are, we have accomplished them. We have done what is expected and sometimes go above and beyond at times. What about you? Did you take time out for you?

Take a moment, and think about what's important in today's society. We go and go and go. No time to just think about us. We are taking care of us, but are we REALLY taking care of ourselves. No, we are not. We are doing what is expected of us, and that can cause us to breakdown.

STOP! Take a moment. Take an hour. Take 1/2 a day off and find that time for just YOU. Maybe you need a 1/2 a day or just an hour with you and your partner. Take that time to find a comfortable spot. Brew up a pot of coffee, hot chocolate or tea. Relax. Talk about the good times, think about good memories, and find yourself refocused.

It's a whole new feeling when you take one day a week, and just focus on you. After 42 years of being a very uptight and never stopping for "me" time. I've paid a hefty price to my health. On Sundays, it's church, lunch, and the rest of the afternoon is "me" time. I make a cup of Organo Gold Coffee, Hot Chocolate, or Tea, and relax. We only receive one life. Take the time to say thank you, and be blessed for all that you have worked so hard for. Look forward to that one day every week. It's the most important day of your life. Faith keeps us strong. Time for ourselves for a healthy moment is priceless.
