I've been there! As a single mom. Only provider for my children. Working to pay the gas to get to work and by the time bills were paid. School items of "Need" were purchased, where was the money for food? I learned very quickly how to stretch $20 for two weeks to feed my kids. If it just wasn't possible. I would take them to my moms. You forgot School! $1000 a Season to give my daughter the opportunity to be in Color Guard. That's $2000 a year. School Parking Pass, $25 a year. I could go on! Bottom line? Even a two income family cannot make it unless you reach out for more!
