Amazing! What People Don't Understand

What am I talking about right! It's Monday, and I've got some time to myself, so I wanted to share a thought. 

I was watching infomercials on #weightloss and #fitness before my children woke up, and here's my Question: do people really fall for the gimmicks? Answer is, YOU DO! It's simple to see why. They put on a good show yet, no one reads the fine print though. I see how people have all these #weightloss programs, and their not using them. Wasting so much money. If I had the money my mother alone has spent on empty promises that these infomercials put out. I would be able to take a very nice, long vacation. 

Let's start at the beginning. How many of you wake up in pain. Wake up and just can't move. Swollen hands, and feet. Headaches daily, and indigestion. What's the first thing you reach for, just to get out of that bed. Advil, Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Excedrin Migraine? Any of these OTC's ring a bell, just to get out of bed? What about those pain/inflammation meds like Baclofen, Flexeril, Percocet, Vicodin, Oxycodone, etc... Reach for those damaging chemicals, prescribed by a doctor? Did you know that these chemicals destroy your liver, kidneys, and heart? Let's move on with your day. Now that your able to move...

Your up, and moving. Ready to go to work. Get to work, and #BOOM you are in pain again, and no energy. You are dragging and having to reach for that #soda #tea #coffee, you just need a boost and your looking for it. As well as looking for more pain meds. It's coming upon the end of your day, but you've made a commitment to #workout and #getfit. Are you keeping your commitments? It's after work, and your brain is exhausted, and you have that small boost, maybe or maybe not. Your still thinking heavily about going to the gym, however; body and brain are not connecting. Which way are you going to go? 

You've arrived at the gym. Are you sitting in the car, on the drive or in the lot, thinking about what you #feel like doing and not doing. Still having very little energy, and just #notfeelingit. I've burnt those calories. I can go work it off again tomorrow. Or, I'll pick up two workouts tomorrow at the gym, and that should keep my body level with my food intake.
