Relaxation = Healthy Body & Mind

We have spoken about how taking time out for you is beneficial. How taking out an hour a day to just either kick off your morning, or evening with a cup of coffee, tea, latte, mocha or hot chocolate, can bring your day to a new level. We have spoken briefly on clearing your mind and refreshing your body. Now, let's get a few more details on how we can improve our life. It takes 28 days to make a habit of change. 

Our health is the most important issue in today's world. As we spoke previously about the daily stressors, let us speak about how easy it can be to eliminate or reduce these daily interactions that raise our blood pressure. 

Whether your focus is on reducing stress, reducing pain/inflammation, increasing energy, or weight management. We will discuss not only why your health is important, but how you can help yourself obtain optimal health. 

Stress: The human body is designed to experience stress and react to it. Stress can be positive, keeping us alert and ready to avoid danger. Stress becomes negative when a person faces continuous challenges without relief or relaxation between those obstacles. What can stress do to our body? What are some of the signs and symptoms to physical stress? 

Physical symptoms including headaches, upset stomach, elevated blood pressure, chest pain, and problems sleeping. How many of us have, or do suffer from inability to sleep a full 8 hours. Did you know, if you do not repeatedly receive 8 hours of sleep, every night. Your brain loses active, functioning brain cells to keep your cognition at its optimal level? Question is, how do we reduce stress and feel better. 

1) Eat healthier: fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, steamed, baked, foods. Gluten free is better than foods loaded with perservatives. Watch the labels, and get to know your products that you purchase on a educational value. Remember, the goal is to save your life, not end it prematurely. Eating smaller meals more times a day not only gives wasthe body valuable nutrition, it keeps the body nourished to give you the ability to endure what may come your way. 

2) FIX: the most popular drink of today. A berry drink, formulated to keep blood pressure, diabetes, and cortisol, all at their "normal" levels.
